ViPAC would like to bring to your attention the following new Determinations which were recently published:
Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Clothes Washing Machines) Determination 2015
Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Dishwashers) Determination 2015
Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Rotary Clothes Dryers) Determination 2015
The energy rating registration facility has been updated for these products to enable registration to the new determinations. Suppliers can update existing registrations to the new determinations free of charge.
The more significant changes to the previous Determinations are:
- Number of stars displayed on the Super-Efficient Label and Energy Efficiency Label is now 10.
- Clothes washers: testing and labelling capacities above 10 kg (up to 20 kg); allows labelling machines with a star rating greater than 6 stars and contains a more flexible approach to where the energy labels may be applied to the machine fronts (or tops) for machines with limited available space on the top front.
The new Determinations are available from comlaw.gov.au
