Condition Monitoring Engineer - Industrial Services

We are currently looking for confident, ambitious and experienced vibration & condition monitoring engineers to play a key role in servicing our expanding client base.
It is expected that your skills will compliment Vipac’s reputation as an expert condition engineering resource.
The primary activities in this role are:
• Take the lead role on-site in establishing & operating major condition monitoring programs
involving vibration, oil analysis, and thermography and laser alignment on predominantly
state of the art rotating machinery.
• To call in other experts from within and outside ViPAC to undertake special technical investigations associated with the optimum maintenance & upgrade of machinery.
• Liaise directly with the client’s maintenance team to program tasks and blend in repairs as
required.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following personal attributes:
• A formal qualification in Condition Monitoring
• A sound knowledge of industries that use condition monitoring.
• Industrial maintenance experience
• Prior experience in an associated trade
• Experience and certification in Vibration Condition Monitoring, Thermography, and Oil Analysis.
• You will be a motivated self starter
• Your personal presentation and communication skills must be highly professional
It is likely that you are currently providing asset management or reliability engineering services to heavy industry, manufacturing or utilities.

a secondary role being in the construction industry.
You will play a key role in generating work for a group of around 40 highly qualified specialist engineers and establishing a continuous pipeline of opportunities for the Queensland operations. Your base of operations will be Brisbane.This is a challenging role that will expose you to major operations in Australia and around the world.
The primary activities in this role are:
• Effectively selling VIPAC’s services to prospective clients
• Identifying and assessing opportunities
• Developing strong long-term relationships within the relevant industries
• Preparing consultancy and testing fee proposals in collaboration with the technical staff

Acoustic Engineer / Consultant - Newcastle
Vipac Engineers and Scientists are a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy employing more than 220 people. We are engaged in a diverse portfolio of projects encompassing the fields of Building & Environmental Acoustics across a range of industry sectors including Buildings, Infrastructure, Industry & Mining.
Due to the continued growth of our Acoustics & Vibration Group and recent success in being awarded major contracts we are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join the group in the Newcastle Office.
Candidates will be suitably qualified with a Degree in Science or Engineering or related discipline; you will be a member of the UK IOA or AAS (or eligible for membership) and have a desire to develop your career in an acoustics & vibration consultancy environment.
You must have excellent spoken and written communication skills.
From the start you will be working closely with engineering professionals and project managers to deliver acoustic solutions across our wide range of projects.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3 years experience working on a range of acoustics projects. The candidate will have experience in the operation of acoustic instrumentation, measurement procedures & assessment of building, environmental & industrial noise.
For the position, knowledge of SoundPLAN, Cadna, EASE or similar noise modelling software is desirable.
A full driver’s license is essential.
