Whole Body Vibration Dosimeter

While back injury in the work place can arise from many factors, a well-documented major cause is the exposure of workers to vibration in heavy vehicles. Both long-term exposure to continuous vibrations and high-amplitude shock vibrations can contribute to serious back injury. To assist in the evaluation, monitoring, and control of exposure to Whole Body Vibration, Vipac has developed the WBVD/1, the Whole Body Vibration Dosimeter.

The WBVD/1 can continuously measure, evaluate and log workers' exposure to whole body vibration in the field. The WBVD/1 will allow operators to easily scan their whole fleet of vehicles and identify vehicles with poor seating performance. Vehicles can be evaluated prior to hire or purchase.

This state-of-the-art instrument is user friendly, easy to set-up and requires no special skills to operate. Results can be printed instantly on the spot.
