Gas Maintenance Database

The maintenance Data Base contains the Flow Computer calibration, Maintenance Data and Instantaneous readings compiled during the routine service visits, ensuring the integrity of the original setup and providing a complete service history for each individual meter.

Meter servicing consists of a three stage operation involving:

Downloading of "Arrival Readings"

This data consists of files of approximately 100 different readings including Temperature, Pressure, Flow conditions, Maximum demands, Constants, Site conditions and Security, which are uploaded to the CMRS Data Base.

Servicing

During an operation such as calibration, all information related to the tests performed, results, changes to programming or constants is recorded.

Collection of "Departure Readings"

Following completion of the service and after sealing the Flow computer, a data "Snap shot" of the set-up and instantaneous readings of the values at the time of departure is uploaded to the Maintenance Data base to create a compete audit trail.

The result is a complete service history and a flexible reporting facility with capabilities including:

•   Listing of all site visits
•   History of Constants, Correction Factors, Remarks, etc for each installation, including seal breakages and security breach attempts.
•   List of meter and logging installations sorted by type, model, location, client etc.
•   Search facility for locating Flow Computers by Log Number, Serial Number, Meter Number, Software version etc.
•   The Maintenance Data Base provides an invaluable tool for trouble shooting, conflict resolution, Bill estimation and Data Validation.
