    Vipac Information Evening, DR AS 5389:2016 What It Means To You

    Vipac was delighted to host an Information Evening on the new Australian Standard:

    DR AS 5389: 2016 Space heating and cooling and ventilation systems – Calculation of energy consumption

    This event provided invaluable insights and shed light on how the standard provides the industry with a methodology for evaluating energy savings, with potential for:

    • Marketing claims;
    • Calculation of running cost and GHG emission reductions;
    • Calculation and communication of comfort improvements; and
    • Evaluation and certification of products for the purposes of energy efficiency and/or GHG emission reduction rebate and compliance schemes.

    With unprecedented popularity due to the standard’s varied implications, the event attracted experts involved with solar hot water, building energy efficiency, star ratings, evaporative cooling and ventilation systems.

    We look forward to seeing this standard being published and then implemented by manufacturers to help us strive towards the common goal of reduced energy consumption.

    The Society of Automotive Engineers- Australia (SAE-A) selected Vipac for a SAE-A Division & Facility Tour. We welcomde members of the automotive community to join our industry experts as they presented their findings, provided insights into technologies used and shared insider knowledge on automotive testing.
