Features: This four storey, S$73 million facility houses three main divisions, namely Labour Relations & Workplaces, Occupational Safety & Health and Foreign Manpower Management, as well as the Work Pass Services Centre.

Challenge: Offered successful implementation of sustainable acoustic design (e.g. Low carbon and natural materials for acoustic treatments).  This building received a Green Mark Platinum Award by Building and Construction Authority (BCA) in Singapore.

Vipac’s role: To advise on room acoustics, façade acoustics, sound insulation (air-borne, structure-borne, impact), and noise and vibration control of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services.

Benefit: Maximised acoustic comfort within the complex for the estimated 30,000 daily customers and the 1,100 Ministry of Manpower staff.
